Nice videos I enjoy the information but the unbelievable amount of words you mispronounce is about as painful to listen to as nails on a chalkboard. I hope that you work on that because your poor speech patterns will negatively impact your kids speech and writing. Fortunately, you will learn the correct way to speak as you guide them and if you still choose to speak so poorly then that’s just a real shame.

These are good! I love the little rhymes for remembering how to write the numbers! My must have are a date stamp and a name stamp! The kids love stamping their papers with the date and their name. It makes it so fun for them! Also look into Versatiles and Confidice, they are so fun to have! Happy homeschooling!

I have heard great things about Mr D pre algebra.

I have a 6th grader and we are new to iew. we have done their three weeks free lessons for 1a and 1b. we do like it, however i'm torn on what level to do. my daughter wants to start with 1b. Is there a big difference between the two levels in terms of assignments? Which level would you start a sixth grader with? we will be doing the fixit grammar also.

Does that mean you can't homeschool your child in kindergarten?

I know you've got a lot going on right now, but I found myself missing your videos so I went back to the beginning! I think you are so well spoken even early on, but I love hearing how you used to doubt yourself because you seem so sure and confident now! You started out great but you've grown so much too! Hope everything is going well with your health, your family, and your new school year!

We are budget homeschoolers otherwise I think we would have jumped from many curriculums too. We've been doing the Easy Peasy because it is practically free. We buy the offline version of the course but it's less than $20 for a book. However, it spirals so quickly that it feels like it is designed for very gifted math students. It moves on before my child can figure out a concept. And it doesn't return to an old concept (the spiral) until it has been long forgotten. We were given a free Saxon textbook so we are going to try it out. Our friend had jumped around books and said her kids loved math after switching to Saxon so I am hoping it helps. Math has been enough of a struggle that it makes me want to throw in the towel for homeschool all together. My youngest is excelling in all the other subjects but is struggling with very basic math concepts. My oldest is special needs so it's hard assessing a curriculum based on results. I like the looks of Math U See but it is way out of our price range. Even with Saxon (if we end up liking it) I would have to stick with just the student textbook. You can find lessons on RUclips and free drill sheets online if needed. (In Canada, we are not required to do testing for the younger grades). We are doing math through the summer this year to catch up and also get a head start on next year's book. I do like that Saxon is starting with a basic review of concepts which should help with confidence.

Hii is there a curriculum you recommend for 2 and 3 year old

I thought you took Pre-Algebra, Living Environment, and a Writing class with English in 6th grade. In 7th grade, you take Integrated Algebra, Earth & Physical Science, and your last year of Regents English. In 8th or 9th grade, try to enroll in Trigonometry/Algebra 2, Biology-Anatomy class, and ask for high school Honors English Language Arts. Don't let the school system make you take Geometry before Trigonometry it's harder, especially for those who aren't good at math. In 9th grade, have your daughter take Geometry, AP American Language & Composition, and AP Seminar. In 10th grade take PreCalculus. Lastly in 11th & 12 grade take all AP classes in the four core subjects, 4 years of LOTE, and take 3 electives like Performing Arts or STEM classes. If she gets better in math AP Calculus AB OR BC could help her not take math in college if she gets a 4 or 5 on the end-of-year test.
